when I am
nestled in your arms?
Or is it the longing that I feel
in an empty bed
when you're not there?
Is desire the quick fix
that fills my body
in the heat of passion?
Or the smell
of your cologne
on the pillow next to mine?
Like night crossing into day
there's a fine line
between love & desire
And in that pivotal moment
when the light becomes brighter
your feelings become clearer
